Definition and Integrated Functions of RCBO Circuit Breaker

An RCBO circuit breaker is an integrated intelligent electrical device that combines residual current protection, overload protection and short-circuit protection. Different from independent RCCB that only provides leakage protection and MCB that only provides overcurrent protection, RCBO integrates all three core protection functions in one modular device, realizing one-stop comprehensive protection for low-voltage terminal circuits. It is an upgraded and optimized product of traditional discrete protection solutions.

The RCBO circuit breaker perfectly integrates thermal-magnetic mechanism and leakage induction mechanism. The built-in bimetallic strip provides delayed overload protection for long-term overcurrent faults, the electromagnetic coil provides instantaneous short-circuit protection, and the high-sensitivity sensor monitors residual current in real time for leakage protection. Three protection modes operate independently and do not interfere with each other, covering all common circuit faults.

With highly integrated design, RCBO circuit breaker saves distribution box installation space, simplifies wiring complexity, and avoids coordination failure risks caused by mismatched parameters of separate MCB and RCCB. It has higher protection accuracy and system stability, and is widely used in high-standard household, commercial and precision equipment power distribution scenarios. It is the preferred upgraded device for modern refined power safety management.SWGCT integrated RCBO circuit breaker realizes all-round safety protection for terminal circuits.
